Who We Are

Founded in 2011, OakPoint Investments is a real estate investment firm with offices in Nashville and Austin. Our founding partners have completed over $2 billion of transactions on behalf of their investors and clients. By targeting both value-add and core investment opportunities in the multi-family, office, residential and industrial sectors, we provide our investors with real estate diversification, often acquiring properties under the radar screen of institutional capital.

Our goal is to identify assets with a unique story, and pursue opportunities where we can create value through an entrepreneurial approach to repositioning and management. Over the last seven years, we have purchased roughly $425 million in real estate, and have been entrusted with more than $120 million in equity. We pair our capital, which is typically 20 - 70% of the equity on a given investment, with our long-standing investor relationships. Currently our portfolio consists of 2.4 million total square feet of owned properties across the United States including multi-family, office, residential and industrial properties.

This is the standard we set for everything we do. We leverage our experience, creativity, and analytical skills to extract the highest possible risk-adjusted returns for our investors.


Investment Criteria

Acquisition Profile

Both stable and value-added / repositioning opportunities in the multifamily, office, residential, and industrial sectors.

Deal Size Capacity

Up to $100 million. Emphasis is placed on deals sized from $10 million to $50 million.


OakPoint employs an entrepreneurial investment strategy designed to minimize competition with other capital sources while maximizing value through intensive post-acquisition management.


Investment decisions are made by the firm's principals, providing an efficient decision-making process. In addition OakPoint, as a lead investor, has the ability to close on an all-cash basis.

Track Record

OakPoint principals have completed over $425 million in principal related transactions and have personally invested $40 million within the past seven years in various asset classes.
